Last weekend we started our long planned trip to Belgium. Antwerpen, Bruges, Gent and Brussel were on the program. Sunday Oostende:
It wasn’t really warm and it rained half the day. So we had to make compromises. Some frames from the beach.
One of my favorites. classic motive.
Next we went to the city. Oostende didn’t fascinate so we drove soon back to Bruges.
Next day we started to Gent. I liked it the most. Beautiful old town, Cathedrals, Theaters and the Grachten – wonderful!
Gent street life.
Hooray for stereotypes. Belgians drive cheesy little scooters – Italians only Ducati’s.
Other views on Gent.
Back in Bruges. The Belfried overlooks the market majestically.
Street shots from Bruges.
Pictures above are from the 5d – next ones shot with lx3. partly of gabi – rest of me.
First evening in Bruges. Tested some various beers. Results next day. Headaches at it’s best.
Raging Madness.
Sister and Brother.
Belgians are relaxed and funny people but the child toy next to the glass container didn’t make any sense.
The other side of Oostende.
After this again some serious drinking shots.
Team stupid ready for starting.
Garage near the photo museum in Antwerpen.
Pelikanstraat – hometown of diamond industry.
That’s all folks. Comments are welcome!
Cheers,
Seb
