Hey folks, finally I scanned my 20 rolls of kodak. The first part of NYC is in color – the second will be black/white.  So now some impressions from the journey. We took of sunday morning in Frankfurt.

Last ID in germany.

Long story short. We arrived at 14.30 eastern daylight time and caught a taxi to manhattan. Outlook of our room.

First impressions of the city are the skyscrapers you are surrounded everywhere.

Time Square: She recognized me at last and gave me a smile. Like that frame.

Everyone was taking photos for memory.

The bear was shooting wide angles. I only took 35mm primes with me.

readynyc.org – new yorkers are very tough guys.

The international center of photography. There was an exhibition of Richard Avedon. Unfortunately shooting was prohibited.

Next we headed for battery park.

These strange pipes you can see almost everywhere in NYC. I suppose the are for aeration

All over manhattan are parks and greens.

And in every park is at least one geocache.

Saw this tape laying around. Weird.
